Sulla neve di casa, Veneto grande protagonista, con due ori e un bronzo: nella 10 chilometri maschile, il bellunese del GS Fiamme Gialle Elia Barp era il favoritissimo e ha mantenuto fede al pronostico, precedendo di 50” il friulano Andrea Gartner (compagno di squadra delle Fiamme Gialle) e di 1’02” l’altoatesino Hannes Hoberhofer (Sesvenna). –Si tratta del mio quinto titolo Juniores e naturalmente sono soddisfatto- spiega il ragazzo delle Fiamme Gialle. -Sapevo che avrei potuto fare bene ma nulla è scontato. Bene così, anche perché sono partito con il pettorale 1 e non avevo riferimenti. Gli sci? Perfetti.-

 

L’altro oro è arrivato dalla 5 chilometri Aspiranti donne nella quale Iris De Martin ha preceduto di 39” la laziale Maria Gismondi (Fiamme Oro) e di 46” la vicentina dello Sci club Gallio Roberta Cenci.Vincere sulla nevi di casa è tutta un’altra cosa– dice la ragazza cresciuta nell’Unione sportiva Valpadola. –Non ho mai avuto un tifo così, c’era un’atmosfera incredibile. La vittoria poteva anche essere prevedibile ma vincere non è mai facile. Accanto al successo una grande soddisfazione è essere riuscita a fare il secondo tempo assoluto, prendendo solamente 5” dalla prima Junior.

 

Gli altri due ori di giornata sono andati al comitato piemontese: Elisa Gallo (Fiamme Gialle) ha vinto la 5 chilometri Juniores precedendo Nadine Laurent (Fiamme Oro) e Denise Dedei (Sc Gromo). Nella categoria degli aspiranti maschili, Davide Ghio (Fiamme Gialle) si è imposto nella 10 chilometri davanti a Gabriele Rigaudo (Sc Alpi Marittime) e Gabriele Matli (Sc Valle Antigorio).

Hanno gareggiato anche le categorie Seniores, gara valevole per la Coppa Italia Gamma. Nella 15 chilometri maschile vittoria per l’altoatesino Dietmar Noeckler (Fiamme Oro) mentre nella 10 chilometri donne per la valdostana Federica Cassol (Esercito).
